Since the sale of Given and the introduction of this abomination of a goalkeeper our chances of beating the drop were hindered big time..This lad is a complete shambles as a goalkeeper his pathetic showing for Bents goal today is proof of that. He doesnt command his box at all he looks fat lazy and lethargic, i used to laugh at the idiots on here that thought he was good, theres a reason hes only played just over a hundred games in 16 years,...HES s****.. wouldnt look out of place in the sticks for the dog and duck or slug and lettuce..Am i alone in thinking this guys s***

If anyone in this thread starts to play the "Given would have saved..." game they deserve a punch in the cunt.

Did it in the other thread. :aww:

Then you get a runners-up prize of a knee to the balls.

Not fit to lace Given's erm... gloves?  He is a poor keeper.

Shocking that some people thought he was equally as good as Shay and was a more than adequate replacement.

well, wise wasnt fit to Lace keegans, running away shoes,... and thats got far more to do with why we are here, than a Harper spill.

Hes not good enough. Has no fire in his belly like Shay had. At one time when Spurs had a shot he didnt even move and could have easily went into the bottom corner.

Tim Krul needs a shot. I would also try and buy Kieron Westwood.

Given was a match-winning goalkeeper, Harper is not.

how does a keeper win matches?

By stopping the opposition scoring when we are leading the game?

How many times has he been in a position to do that since he came into the team?

(Genuine question btw & I have no idea what the answer is)

We've only won one game since Given was sold, and in that he let two in.

He's the least of our worries right now. The fact we currently have no left-back fit to play, a midfield that's about as quick and creative as my small intestine and no-one who can take a set piece right.

Another post match shit thread. Jesus wept.
