Guest LucaAltieri
I've noticed a few websites cropping up using Silverlight for video, images etc. Can anyone tell me what the benefits of Silverlight are over using Flash? From what I can see Flash does everything Silverlight does (and more), it's already more of a standard, the quality is about the same, and the file sizes are a lot smaller thus load time is quicker. Why would anyone develop with Silverlight? Is there something I'm missing?
SEMTEX
Isn't it related to the ability to enforce digital rights management? Just something I've read before I guess. Can't really remember.
Dave
I think it's just Microsoft's answer to Flash.
