Colos Short and Curlies
So looks like its Babe 3 - Revenge of the Pig. Off to Mexico on the 12th May, no reported instances in Cancun and Mexico City is near enough 1000 miles away from the resort. Mother in Law on the phone this evening warning the better half not to go. Tried to throw back the distance point by asking if she would avoid going to Barcelona if there was an outbreak in Paris. Going to be a fun 2 weeks, every bloody night I'll be getting an ever increasing amount of paranoia. Still waiting for my dose of bird flu personally. Oink Oink! (BTW the purpose of this thread is to complain about the interfering out-law)

Colos Short and Curlies
you may not get there if the WHO declares it a pandemic. Can't see it personally, a bit of hype for a day or two then it will die down ala the bird shit we were all going to die from. Its only all over the news so much because a couple of yank kids got a sniffle Edit, its also a fucking joke that my AXA travel insurance won't pay out on cancellations due to WHO recommendations on travel. It was fucking recommended by the Travel Agent as covering every aspect of the holiday, and its a fucking expensive one too!
James
President Obama was exposed to it last week apparently. Someone he met in Mexico died the next day. The fact that the Americans all seem to have survived thus far when this has blatantly been going on for a few weeks would suggest that it'll be OK. GM
I seem to remember when they found a dead swan bobbing about in a harbour in Scotland (?) about four years ago, that we would all be dead of bird flu inside about four months. This one will be different, no doubt. Cellardyke, April 2006. "We're all gonna die!" http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/scotland/4881526.stm

Jayson
World health organisations meeting again today to discuss whether to raise threat levels from 3 to 4 so that'll show how concerned they are about it. Bird flu stayed on a 3. 4 Would be a sign that they reckon its heading towards being a global pandemic. If people outside of mexico start dying id be concerned

The man is barking, he makes David Icke seem sane with some of the drivel that he comes out with. If he said it was sunny outside I'd start looking for an umbrella.
