That was shocking from Martins really.

Heh?

V for Vendetta.

How? We had 4 players in the box, Duff had made a good overlapping run to put the ball into them, and instead he cocked up the opportunity to take on a shot or pass, and played a sideways pass when the move had fizzled out. No vendetta at all.

don't think anyone is suprised to see you having a go at martins at every opportunity.

shaped to shoot twice, didnt open up so he hung on to the ball and played it back out wide. well played.

Or he plays the percentages, threads Duff through and he can put the ball across the box to any one of four.

or he could've lost the ball entirely. that would be poor, keeping a hold of it and recycling it back out wide certainly is not.

He didn't have to hold onto possession though! He had a simple 10-yard pass to a player who could have slipped a pass in from a good position to a number of players. It's not like he had nothing on and was holding onto possession to create a better opening was it?

We're so unthreatening it's a joke. Our midfield is so uncreative our strikers have to drop into midfield to try and create openings for themselves.

he chose to try and get a shot in and was closed down, once the opportunity passed he held on to it. far from shocking, happens all the time and he did well to hold on after the initial chance was gone. in comparison owen just lost it on the edge of the box 2 mins ago as he turned to face goal, good move by him, shame it didnt come off, wouldnt say it was shocking though.

oh i do love a good vendetta
