Kaizero
The band "The Cumshots" release their new record in the UK on Monday, and because of their name they won't get any airtime on UK radio. Since when did the name of a band mean their music can't get on the air? http://www.vg.no/uploaded/image/bilderigg/2009/05/08/1241784176159_252.jpg

Seriously, you expect an announcer to read that out loud on a radio broadcast?

Wullie
The fact that they have to have a controversial name to get noticed suggests that their music is probably not much worth listening to anyway.

They're shit. It just bugs me how a name manages makes so much fuzz.
Dave
I'm sure there are tons of bands with risqué names that are not played because of it. This lot probably paid someone to get them in the news.
Wullie
Some things you can't say on radio, simple as that. Not sure why anyone would expect otherwise.
Dave
Always found it strange how there's no watershed like. Don't see why swearing is just unacceptable on the radio at any time.

Kaizero
Example radio host dialogue: "This song is by a band with a rather unusual name. So if you don't want to be offended, you better turn down the sound now. They're called, wait for it, that's right, "The Cumshots", and here's their newest song." Would you get offended by that if a radio host said something in that fashion on the radio when introducing the name?

Joey
Or they could just skip the name out all together and just say, next up its [insert name of song which is probably going to equally just as "edgy"].
