Kaizero
Right, as topic says, what's your favourite sitcom? I've added a poll with the most common "Ooh, I love X-Sitcom" options I've heard from people. If your favourite is not on the list, feel free to enlighten us. Also, this is for non-animated shows, so no Simpsons and Family Guy and so on. Fugazi
Why is it US-specific?
Kaizero
Why is it US-specific? Because I'm going by what most people on here, and off here, have said when I've asked them the same question. I've taken what seems the most popular, as I can't exactly have 30 options, and it just happens that these 10 shows that has seemed most popular, happen to be American. M4
In terms of pure sitcoms... I might have to go for Seinfeld. Is Curb a sitcom? Even then, think I would still have Seinfeld just slightly ahead.

Jill
Out of those, Curb Your Enthusiasm by a country mile. PS. Scrubs is fucking shit.
Fugazi
Out of the list it's hard to choose between Curb, Seinfeld and Arrested Development.
SEMTEX
I voted Scrubs. Though no doubt I'll remember other things that I prefer.

Beren
How did King of Queens and Everybody Loves Raymond make that list? Cheers needs to be on there IMO. I'd probably go with Frasier - just edging out Curb and AD.

Pilko
The big bang theory. One of the worst things I've ever seen on television. Agreed, don't understand why people laud it. Peep Show btw.

ElDiablo
Out of the list it's hard to choose between Curb, Seinfeld and Arrested Development. This. Anyone like The Office (US)? Think alreetlike likes it but it doesn't seem very popular on here. Great show. Just started 30 rock as well and that is very good so far, does that count as a sitcom?
Mike
30 Rock is the best sitcom on TV right now, imo. US Office started strong and then turned into a godawful soap opera.
Kaizero
Added a couple of new options out of the ones suggested, that are sitcoms. And not just comedy. 30 Rock, for instance, is per definition a comedy show. Not a sitcom.
M4
Anyone like The Office (US)? Think alreetlike likes it but it doesn't seem very popular on here. Great show. I've seen them all and still watch it. Started poorly, became really good around season 2. Now just a very average sitcom. Documentary style is irrelevant almost now in it. Still watchable for a good little half hour, but instantly disposable.

Seasons 123 are really good but you're both right it has tailed off a bit towards the end.
