Your bodily quirks

If I laugh too hard the laughs becomes snoring sounds, not laughter.

My little toe on my right foot seems to have got used to a curled-up state. If I stretch it out, it makes a series of tiny cracking noises.

The missus doesn't like either of mine, but then again she can put her arms out (palms up) and they go to an angle beyond flat. Like her elbows are double-jointed. WTF?

Quite often find myself straightening my leg relly quickly to crack my knee

Not sure if that's common but I am worried my knee will end up knackered one day

See that's the same as my back one. You're not doing an unnatural movement, so why does it crack? I crack my fingers/knuckles all the time but that's by pushing them to a position they wouldn't ordinarily be in so I can understand it.

I have a mole on my chin that hairs used to come out of. I plucked them, and they stopped coming out.

I have a mole on my neck and hairs come out again every single time I pluck them.

:dowie:

PS - it's satisfying though. :pow:

 Wor lass has that too.

I seem to need to crack my neck (loudly) every 10 minutes, which is usually greeted by a synchronised choir of audible cringing from all unfortunate onlookers.

:undecided:

Havent a clue. Thing is something weird must happen because I can feel when it needs to be done. I dont get an uncomfortable feeling or a pain, I just kind of know when I need to stand up and crack it.

Looks weird if I am standing in a queue.

I know that feeling, and every time I convince myself it's just psychological and that I don't need to do it, I still end up doing it.

:nods:

Do you find it satisfying when you have done it as well or is that just me ?

I think the cracking is supposed to be due to changes in pressure in the joints when you're moving them about - this causes gases dissolved in the synovial fluid to come out of solution and it causes a sound. The reason you can't immediately crack your joints again is that it needs to dissolve again before you can do it again.

Pretty much harmless as far as I can remember.

Two ankles that click when I walk, one knee that clicks when I walk & hurts when I walk down stairs or put weight on it, index finger that knacks when I grip stuff.  Plus a back that spasms in bed, I wake up & literally cant move for the pain.

Other than that, I'm a picture of health.

I get tons and tons of spots on the backs of my arms. No matter how much I resist from squeezing them, they're always there. Used to get them on my legs too but they've all but gone now.

Btw - try googling 'squeezing'.

Does this happen to anyone else? Sometimes when I'm waiting to fall asleep, there is a split second where I feel like I fall out of my body. It's hard to explain, but I go completely limp and feel like I'm falling in mid air. It happens semi-occasionally and it's not the same as when you stop yourself from sleeping.

That's natural. It happens more regularly the older you are, can't remember the name of it though.

Yeah I do that. It's either like you're falling as you say, or slipping over. It always makes me jump back awake.

I can click my neck, like a bad ass would do in a movie before a fight :snod:

I can also click my ankles, toes, wrists, fingers and right knee on occasion.

Someone should do that in some shitty spoof movie. You click your neck, then your knuckles in a fist like a real hard case. The other guy does the same. So you start clicking your wrists, then fingers, then toes...

Yes, that would be exceedingly silly.

I'll steal that, it's comedy gold.
