BlufPurdi
Nope. If anything, Google will end Bing.
Stifler
Nah, whatever it can do Google will try and better You really need to try it before you can say that, I remember my first year in school, everyone used yahoo, then a year later no one would use anything else except google, try it when it comes out, it looks promising, but weather or not it can deliver the goods or not is another matter. Chrissy Bee
Live search is already quite good actually. I'm not sure if we use Google out of anything more than habit.

ikri
Google's market share is enormous, far larger than the search engines that were pretty much obliterated by Google's arrival & the dot com bust, the likelihood of a huge percentage of Google's users suddenly deciding to use Bing is pretty small. That said, whilst Google has apparently indexed the most pages the search results can be garbage a lot of the time, especially if you're looking for something obscure. Google doesn't really discriminate between pages and will quite happily include a dictionary page in your search results. Plus, some newer spyware & viruses are targeting people's trust in Google to spoof search results to return malware sites as genuine results in Google searches. Microsoft isn't really taking aim at Google with Bing, they're trying to take a slice of the 25% or so of the non-Google search engine (and advertising) market. Kaizero
In the sense of commercial intent with the names: "Google it!" - Works because "google" wasn't a word at the time. Bing is a word, a funny one at that. "YahhoooooooooOooO!" - Great commercials and stuff made it acceptable to yell it out. What about Bing? "You wake up one morning, and BING there it is." It's not even Bing that's used in that sentence if done properly, god! Also, "Bing it!" and "BiiIiiIinnnnGgg!" doesn't sound near as good.
