i'm more curious as the reasons people start smoking.

Of my friends who smoke, I'd say the most common reason is to 'fit in', which I think is a bollocks reason.

Each to their own I guess.

I dont smoke, but it doesn't bother me in the slightest.

bothers me as it stinks and there was nowt worse as a young'un putting in loads of work with a femme to have to say "yeuch....can we skip the snogging and go straight to shag ?"

How would you describe the smell?

I can understand why people started smoking as kids to "look cool". Its when they have started as adults that I don't get and "everyone else was going out for fag breaks" doesn't seem like a good reason to me.

When I do from time to time its when I'm pissed, and it just feels like the right thing to do.

Smoking's cool and everyone knows it.

I'd say it used to be but not any more.

This, it was back in the 40's and 50's when people didn't really notice it was bad for you - my dad says that even when he was a lad in the late 60's, the only correlation between smoking and bad health was that the lads who smoked couldn't run for as long during football matches.

That probably makes it cooler tbh.

I have a throat very sensitive afeter all the deep throat so when I smoke I like to spice it up with some majuriawana or crack.

Ginola, Cantona, Vialli all smokers all played at the highest level.

if you say so. it's more for people who think it looks cool. liken the little kids who do it cos they think it makes them look hard.

never felt the need for it myself.

That sulphur smell is lovely I agree.

Stinky and pukey aren't smells though as they aren't easily defined as smells. Give it another go.
