Pineapple, peaches, plums, cherries (bloody cherries that cost more per pound than gold it seems) and kiwi fruit all 49p. All quality standard too. Damn, damn, damn good value for money.

Apparently Aldis own brand Pizzas, or it might be Lidl, are the same ones that are Fenwicks own brand pizzas, but are a fraction of the price.

The bairns love the pizza from Aldi. Their bread is nice too.

Tbh I was always an aldi snob till lately, but I have started going there alot more lately. They food tastes as good or not better than most. The only negative thing is the queues in there. But for the price you are paying and the quality its certainly worth the wait.I bought around 7 or 8 items the last day for my lunch at work and dinner in the evening for only 8euros.Def shopping there anymore ahead of tescos

I buy most of my shopping there now, and just get the (very few) things that they don't stock there at Asda or Morrisons. Saving me a fortune and they always have interesting things on offer too. Got my little one a 4 pack of t-shirts this afternoon for £3.19

We have one not far rom us, its great for bits n bobs.  I agree the pizzas are very good and the fruit n veg is also tip top.  I love how they flogg random things like crow bars tho.

My only gripe is they only tend to have one cashier on at a time, very rare they have two going at the same time.

I dunno if they still do it now, but quite a few years ago they used to sell pretty decent spec PC's for very good prices.

Aye, they had a pc in there today but I didn't see how much is was. They do cheap sat nav's and MP4's as well.

We do half of our shopping in Aldi and the rest in Tesco... as peeps say stuff like fruit and veg is seriously cheap (saves us about a fiver each week just on those) then coca cola is half the price of elsewhere, stuff like Salmon, Mince and cooked meats are also cheap and good quality.

Then theres the brucie bonus - Galahad! £2.39 for 4x500ml cans, or sometimes if u catch it right £8 for 18 cans.

Our weekly spend in Aldi is about £20, the same stuff in Tesco would be £28+ easy.

Apparantly they are starting to do travel packages too. On their website they are offering flights and hotels from as little as £8 per person per night to Tenerife.

It pays to shop around, I don't think theres a shop out there that I could do all of my shopping at every week, best to get a mixture I find.

Never been in Aldi, will have to check out the fruit as we get through a fair bit as oppose to sweets and other unhealthy snacks.

Got my current PC in Aldi just before Christmas. Was a cracking deal...
