Khan V Hatton

Amir Khan has stated for the first time that he wants a "tear-up" with Ricky Hatton, having recently denied he had any intention of fighting the 30-year-old former two-weight world champion.

 Would like to see it though.

Khan would beat Hatton I reckon. Of course we'll have to see how he deals with the weight against Kotelnik but Hatton is nowhere near as quick as Prescott and doesn't have his reach either.

If Hatton stands still like he did against Manny, Khan would pick him off. Hatton would always have a punchers chance against someone with a chin like Khan but lets not forget that Khan is coaching by the best in the world whilst Hatton is being coaching by no-one.

Hatton would win.

Khan got beat by a brawler (prescott) who he will never ever beat again. And he makes a comeback fight with barrera if you can call that a fight, yes he got the win by TD but it doesnt prove khan is a good fighter as the fight needed to be a rematch to have any credability at all. I cant see him beating Kotelnik and if he does I defiantly cant see him beating Dmitry Salita. Khan is a good fighter but i dont think he is the UKs next big fighter.

My money would actually be on Khan, i'm not a fan of his and i'll be rooting for Kotelnik when they fight, but i just don't think Hatton has much to offer anymore.

Hatton has alot to offer he just cant make the jump into beating really really good fighters .

Lazcano had him on queer street a couple of times. LAZCANO! I think Khan's speed and power would be too much for him.

Has Hatton beaten good fighters before though? IMO he's only fought bums, nobodies and over-the-hill fighters (like Kostya Tsyzu) before taking on two pound-for-pound champs and being made to look like a boy fighting against men.

There are plenty of good fighters in the 140/147 who'd wipe the floor with Hatton imo, because he's not a good enough boxer. He could, and should, have fought some of these guys before considering taking on the likes of Pacquiao and Mayweather, but then that would mean fighting against better boxers without the purse being anything like as big as it was against those two.

Khan has speed and power, Hatton can't deal with it Mayweather and Manny both destroyed him.  Lets not forget that Khan is now being trained by the best in the world and  has done alot of sparring work with Manny.

Khan would wipe the floor with him in 5.  It would be like watching the de la Hoya and Manny fight imo.  No contest

Khan is a different fighter since joining the American camp. Freddie Roach is one of the best trainers in the business and Khan's defence which was non-existent before looks pretty solid now. I think Hatton would end up KO'd, he's been flattened a couple of times now, admittedly by great fighters, but it's still a worrying pattern.

Why does everyone hate Khan and like Hatton?

They're both odious cunts who think they're quality when in fact they're somewhat average. At least Khan doesn't think he's the best in the world or refer to himself in the third person like Fatton does.
