James
I've got a bit of a dilemma here. I live in a University Smaller Residence, it was a flat between three and I was sharing with two foreign guys. I got an extension over the summer so I can stay to do my dissertation. One guy moved out last week, and the other moved out two days ago. The one that moved out a couple of days ago, is moving somewhere else in the summer is coming back to live somewhere else after a month or so with his parents. It would seem he left his key with his future housemates, so that they could move his stuff between houses (his contract here expires 7th July), but over the last couple of days at least two different people have been in this flat, in his room for several hours at all times of day, with no sign of any packing/moving going on. Should I report it? I don't really want to shit on my housemate and get him in trouble, as he's a nice enough guy if just very quiet, but I'm just very conscious that these people are in this flat when I'm alone, and although I can make guesses, I have no idea why they are here or who exactly they are. Advice please.

Stu
Are these individual rooms? i.e. with a lock on each door, etc? or a shared house?
Decky
I would, if they are dodgy you don't want them in a house that you live in as well! Not worth the risk, what happens if you leave it and some of your things go missing? I wouldn't worry about being a dick btw, any mature person would understand, plus the lad is moving out anyway. Have you e-mailed/spoken to your housemate? Otherwise I'd report it to your landlord, if it's just something innocent the guy will get his stuff sorted, albeit with a little more hassle. GM
Have you tried talking to this ex-housemate's friends? Or are you afraid they'll lock you up in a partly-submerged bamboo pit and force you to play Russian roulette?

Guest Heneage
If you want no trouble, then just leave it. Best bet is to chuck the lad an e-mail.

Nobody
Shag her. That's your answer to every dilemma. Yet he doesn't speak from experience. Exactly, it's what people kept telling me, so I'm assuming it's an awesome advice.
