JH
Was working at an event at Druridge Bay last week and got badly burnt, then guess what happened yesterday? Why I was working at another event at Druridge Bay and got burnt again. My ankles are stinging like fuck when I walk!
Pilko
Everytime I've been to Druridge it's been boiling and blazing sunshine like, including canoeing in November. I don't get it too bad, red skin but never get the horrible pain and flaking off etc.
Slugsy
Hmm, thought I was impervious to the UK sun, 36 holes of golf yesterday without lotion put paid to that silly notion!

LucaAltieri
There isn't enough after sun in the world to make the pain stop.
Shearer9
Just got a new job driving a rickshaw, outside for 8+ hours during the day, pretty much gotten over the burn now, just getting some in weird little patches where I somehow get exposed.

My brother had bad sun burn a few years back on his right arm from where the idiot had left his elbow leaning on his open window. I don't think he does that anymore. Yeah, it does take the sting out of it for 15 minutes or so. Unfortunately it's quite thick and forms a barrier on the skin so air and after sun can't get the skin to repair it. Guest Heneage
I went brown in the sun yesterday, love it.
AyeDubbleYoo
People keep asking me whether I've just come back from holiday, I tan pretty easily. I wear some low-factor suncream when I'm out for long periods like, and moisturise afterwards ()... got to look after the skin.
LucaAltieri
I'm going to start a "I've lost one of my legs in a car accident" thread just to see how many of you fuckers post bragging that you've still got both of yours.
LucaAltieri
The internet recommends a cold water/vinegar compress. Stings a bit at the moment and I smell like a chippy, but if it works...

Adam
I have a nice tan from my week in Turkey so the sun here can no harm me !
BlufPurdi
Sunburn always reminds me of BlufPurdi at Download. And the same for me too, it was an awful learning curve. I had a sort of burn-type tint/scar along the top of my back for about 8 months after it.
Keefaz
Tops of the ol' shoulders are a bit red. Arms brown. Everything else white as a fucking sheet. This is the way it should be.

pedro111
Tanning pisses me off its just so much f***ing effort tbh. I sit out in the sun for hours, then I go beet red and feel like Im on fire for a day or two, then im left with a slight tan for a day then it fades to white again. I got terrible sunburn on my neck the other day, thats the killer place, right on the gentle skin of the back of the neck. It kept me awake all bloody night, I couldnt sleep on my back because the heat that the pillow generatred on my neck was awful. Bastards.
