Re-watching this.  As It used to be on a lot when I was a kid, as my Step Dad loved it.  Never seen them all or in order, or anything like that.

It's such an easy watch and it is still as good as I remember.  But the stand up scenes are so jarring.  They're awful, which I feel is on purpose and maybe just a pisstake of Seinfeld by Larry David, the writers and Jerry himself.  But I find it almost awkward at times how terrible and unfunny it all is

Kramer is still the king.

Yes man, love the show but the stand up bits are so shit. Feel embarrassed watching them around other people who don't know it's a good show (their loss like). I've never thought that they're supposed to be shit, just thought they're great sitcom writers, rubbish stand up.

I thought the shit stand up bits were part of the joke. Was he actually like that live ?

Think my top 3 lines are all Kramer: the nosejob, 'Cotton Dockers' and when he announces he's out of the contest.

The best moment in Seinfeld for me:

Frank Costanza getting told his son is dead and being like "What the HELL did you trade Jay Buhner for?!"

"Jerry, it's Frank Costanza, Steinbrenner's here, George is dead, call me back"

Feel like there have been quite a lot of forgettable eps of late on my watch through. But I think I am mid-season 5 and there have been some belters. Namely the one with the statue of the Native American and the Latvian Othordox episodes. Superb television.

They really didn’t aim for realistic women for Jerry or George, did they? You can half allow it with Jerry up to a point. But George just bagging worldies all the while is outrageous

 Honestly the ratio of worldies in NYC is so high I can almost kinda see it.

This post is me manifesting. Ignore me.

Getting through this now. JLD was something else, man. Absolute belter.

Kramer somehow gets funnier. Newman is a better side character than I remember. Just an easy watch and a great sitcom.

Ugh, she was/is unfuckingreal.

The sex scenes where you don't really see anything other than her shoulders or some noises she's making.

Fucking hell.  Not felt like that watching something that isn't porn since seeing Cameron Diaz in The Mask when I was about 8 or 9

Watched the secret code episode last night. Some of Kramer’s finest work. When he is interrogating George for his bank code  Then driving a fire truck round later for good measure.

Movie fone episode was after that. Pure class, man.

He really is one of the best comedy characters ever.
