I posted this in a different forum about the MJ memorial last night, and I've got a bit of stick, which I feel undeserved, surely I have a point?

 

I watched the end while I was waiting for something to come on TV, and I'm going to repeat what I said to my friend who actually likes him.

 

I'm not a MJ fan, it is most likely that he did do indecent thing with children, yes he may of been of a music sensation, but I never felt any thing for him.

 

But I am still sickend at how by press and so called "Fans" pressure his body has had to be shown publicly, a memorial has had to be made for him just over a week after his death, many friends and family have had to grieve during this time in front of the camera. But what I really really hate, is the fact that again by press and so called "fan" pressure, his little daughter has to get up on to a stage, infront of the camera, infront of maybe 70% of the world, with tears in her eyes to tell everyone how she is going to miss her father, this must be the hardest thing anybody has ever had to do, and it should be especially for her who has had to share her father with the public all her life the only private thing she has to do, and she had to share it infront of everyone. For the reason of giving all his "fans" closure, well you know what, they are fucking scum everyone one of them who wanted this, everyone of them who went to see his body, everyone of them who went lastnight, everyone of them who deliberatly watched on TV, you are not a fan, your just getting a kick out of watching people suffer, at watching a dead body being paraded, at watching people mourn.

You are very much correct, although the bit in bold is complete rubbish. "It is most likely", how is it? He was found not guilty ffs, there is no evidence whatsoever, and yet you say "It is most likely".

 

I completely agree with you however about fan pressure, and how it's awful that his family have had to have their greiving process broadcast on national television.

Fair enough if it's your opinion, just sick of seeing it presented as fact that he did those things.

 

From what I saw, it seems that sher asked to do it, I doubt she was forced into talking. Maybe she just wanted to tell the world how great her dad was to her and her brothers, but then we'll never really know. Whether she wanted to or not, I don't think it's really fair to let her go in front of the world and bear her heart like that, especially in such a vulnerable time as having just lost a father. But then if she really wanted to, maybe that's her choice.

 

Either way, I don't think there should have ever been a public memorial service. The man spent his entire life in the cameras, at least give him his funeral in the privacy of his family and friends. Personally I blame the father, Joe Jackson. Even days after Michael died he didn't seem bothered, always struck me as trying to milk as much money out of the situation as possible.

Vitiligo gets progressively worse, so as he got more and more white due to the disease it he had to use makeup to even it out, at first black, but then as it got to the point where there was more white than black, it made more sense to just cover up the fewer black parts. Do you expect the man to "black up" his whole body every morning when the disease has caused most of his skin to be white? As for the children, imo you can see a resemblance in all of them.

He has said in interviews that he as never once used plastic surgery to change the colour of his skin, and I'm far more inclined to believe him than you tbh. As far as I'm concerned, it's makeup, not "Chemical stripping". Give me some proof that he ever used the latter, and I'll reconsider my opinion.

Pretty sure I've seen the video you speak of, and he mentions that it was only to watch movies, like kids would do at a sleepover. I'm not denying the man had problems, he had a lot of them, but I don't think he was particularly "sick", just troubled, a grown man trying to capture the childhood he never had, and imo he was never a danger to kids. He loved children.
