Dokko
The TV boxes are fuking crap, especially the V+ boxes and don't let them fool you in to their HD abilities, it doesn't matter when they've only got one channel, and have promised 6 more for over a year now. Useless lying cunts.

Useless lying c***s. True - all they've got is BBC HD and have been promising more channels for yonks with no news on any updates. Other than that - good service. Guest ObiChrisKenobi
Never an issue with Broadband with them other then initial order was forgotten, and when I initially enquired about it they didn't pick up that the cable had been disconnected at the master box in the street. So when it arrived I couldn't get it connected at all, then they realised the cable was DC'd - so I got a month free. Their tech support, like all India based tech support, is scripted and unless you follow their script they won't/can't help. So if you don't like that kind of tech support, be prepared to be frustrated, but like I said, had no issue in 2 years with them. Their net speeds are next to none due to their cable network, but their throttle over users between 6pm and 1am so be prepared to see your amazing speed drop during peak times if you use it for 'stuff'. Their TV offerings are pretty poor at the moment, and you'll find yourself watching the same stuff over and over again within 3 months. Same could be said for SKY, but at least with Sky if you have all the options there's more to choose from if you want something different.

David Icke - Son of God
The TV boxes are fuking crap, especially the V+ boxes and don't let them fool you in to their HD abilities, it doesn't matter when they've only got one channel, and have promised 6 more for over a year now. Useless lying cunts. Sounds about right. They seem to have awful trouble with the signal on V+ boxes yet don't seem willing to do much about it. We've got a V+ box downstairs and a normal box upstairs all with the same channels, all connected to the same box outside yet on the V+ box is virtually unwatchable at times. We've rang them and they either send someone out to swap the box (which works for about a week) or reset the box (which wipes all your recorded stuff and doesn't work at all). After that they're about as much use as a chocolate teacup. The V+ boxes are so, so slow too. If you want to change channel you've got to press the button and wait a second or two before it actually gets its arse in gear. This can be a real issue if you're flicking through the channels as you'll inevitably end up pressing the Channel +/- button too many times and end up having to wait until it decides to land on some Indian radio station. The broadband is okay for the most part, although the throttling is a pain in the arse if you're going to use it to download stuff. Saying that the offer of 50 meg is probably enough to make up for it. Never had any trouble with the phone line either.

TaylorJ_01
If you ever have any problems you are screwed. The only people you can speak to are people who know about 4 words of english 'reset the box' and 'what?'. I got so stressed last time, took about 5 hours to sort a simple problem. Jill
We've never had problems when ringing up... only needed to when moving to get everything set up, but always managed to get through to someone reasonably quickly, and they've arranged for someone to come out and sort it. TaylorJ_01
They have one tech support call centre in scotland (about 20 people) and the rest are in India. Things like cancelling etc are all in UK I think.
Stu
think they've still got the old Telewest call centre round these parts - its the only one with any decent staff, the Scottish ones are retarded. They may even have the NTL one down in 'Burra. The Indian tech support one is pretty gash, but don't get me started on the Filipino payments/collections one...its like talking to a dog. Actual service isn't too bad, internet drops between 6pm & midnight, tv is decent but heard nothing about setanta despite it being offline for nearly a month. prices have just gone up as well. pay about 45quid/month for tv, bb, phone & 2 extra boxes, bills usually around 50quid
Guest neesy111
sky like all tv at the moment is absolute rubbish] nothing on the movie channels and usually end up watching a channel that would be on free view anycase virgin like cable tv is the future due to the on demand stuff which is expanding broadband is excellent apart from speed caps, but i don't even download much now so it makes no difference whatsoever + you get lot's of freebies now
SEMTEX
i've unplugged my skybox. Sky is useless until sports come back.
Guest Heneage
Why? Are you not still paying for it?
Stifler
Sky internet is rubbish and slow, I know everyone who has sky has the same problem, and when you ring them it's never there fault. Sky TV is rubish when the rain comes as you will not get a signal. I think Virgin media would be a better all round optoin if they also has Sky Sports and Movies.
