Fugazi
Might have been done on here before, but anyway. Saw this post... Finding a pound coin. Or better yet, a two-pound coin. And there are those moments once every blue moon when you spot a note fluttering along the floor in the breeze. You can be fat and wearing concrete shoes, but you'll run like Linford fucking Christie to jump on it and claim the prize. What's the lowest amount of money you would pick up off the ground? When you're walking along minding your own business.

Fugazi
oh by the way.........it depends on who is around. Good point, if i'm walking along Northumberland Street on a Saturday afternoon it would certainly change things.
madras
anyone ever found a note...it's weird. you pick up coin matter of factedly but when picking up a dropped note you feel like a thief and the urge to spend it is sooo strong, part out of guilt to get rid of it and part out of "hey it money from nowt" found a £20 note in the central station and a fiver outside morrisons in bishop auckland. ElDiablo
Depends where I am. For example if i'm in a club I wouldn't bend to pick a quid up as I know if I walk another few paces someone will have dropped a fiver. Anyone else find there's shitloads of money on the floor inside clubs? It's why I go tbh, fuck the music and women.
Guest firetotheworks
I think 20p and above is acceptable. 10p if I need to put some money towards getting my diabetic sister a taxi to hospital.

Wullie
A few years ago when I was staying with him in Bristol, one of my mates spotted 10p in the road, waited until an approaching bus had pulled up at the stop next to us before leaning down and retrieving the coin from under the exhaust. Kaizero
I'd not pick up anything less than the £1 equal of Norwegian money. I generally hate coins though, cards and notes are where it's at.

Ive got about the equivalent of £2 in Norwegian and £4 in Swedish low denomination coin - would you scrabble on the ground for it if I had a 'chuck oot'.
