James
I'm thinking there must be something in this. I used to dream as a kid really vividly, but stopped since I left home, but having two nights in my old bed at my parents house I have had two vivid dreams. I'm convinced that it is something in my environment that makes me catch dreams. Whether it is spiritual or scientific I like to have an open mind. What are the general ideas on this? Pilko
I've always thought that there are a number of factors; environment, your mood on falling asleep, how tired you are, what you last had to eat and drink, what you are thinking about as you fall asleep, and the most important or vivid events in your recent life. I don't really subscribe to the spiritual side of it, although I'm not going to rubbish it or mock those who do believe in it.

I don't really subscribe to the spiritual side of it, although I'm not going to rubbish it or mock those who do believe in it. Environment, and food are the main changes for me, while the dreams themselves have a definite connection to recent events. I'm more along the inclination that science can explain this, although one of the closest friends goes a bit spiritual about this and has dreamcatchers all over the place and swears by it. James
Like I recently muddied my suit and need to clean it, I had to give a presentation recently, and I'd been walking around lots of European cities recently looking at transport. So last night I was in one of those cities, my suit was still muddy, I gave a speech before getting told off by President Obama for my scruffy appearance. ChezGiven
So last night I was in one of those cities, my suit was still muddy, I gave a speech before getting told off by President Obama for my scruffy appearance. Significant. This shows you are destined for great things but that you need to sharpen your approach to life and gain some experience. In short, you are not quite ready to take on the world since you have only recently graduated from studies and are beginning to embrace the challenges of life. This is the sort of dream a leader of men has, a captain of industry, an innovator on the cusp of greatness. Nice one.
Segun Oluwaniyi
I haven't had a real vivid dream since I left home to attend university in America. I used to have quite a vivid imagination at night time, but now all I ever get is these insane tired dreams right before I wake up. Usually they consist of me waking up and washing myself and getting ready to go to class/work with time to spare, then I snap out of it and I am still lying in bed with about 10 minutes until I need to leave. Haz
Dreams are said, by pyschologists and pyscho therapists, to be the brain's way of working out solutions and virtual running problem solving. There's no spiritual side. The brain is just a functioning organ like every other organ in the body.
