Xbox update on the way

I think for the shit like clothes for the avatars you could get some from the games you complete. For example you complete Call of Duty, every achievement and it unlocks a full soldiers outfit for that game period, rifle the lot.

Same goes for GAW, get all the achievements and you get the GOW armour to wear.

Would make finishing off the games perfectly an even bigger achievement.

Sounds like a great idea TT. I reckon they should give prizes for achievement points, like say a MS point for every achievement point, or say 500 MS points for the hard achievements. Even things like backgrounds etc.

Microsoft today announced that the next big update to the Xbox 360 dashboard will arrive on August 11.

The update will mark the debut of Live's Games on Demand service, set to offer full Xbox 360 titles for digital download.

Confirmed titles for the service include Mass Effect, BioShock, Assassin's Creed, LEGO Star Wars: The Complete Saga and Sonic the Hedgehog.

Netflix party support and the Avatar Marketplace have also been squeezed into the update, while Facebook, Twitter and Last.FM integration will arrive in a future fall update alongside 1080p streaming support.

Yep got it, will give it a good look after Eastenders (). What is the rank thing on your membership btw? Mine is 2, I take it that means how many games you have completed? Ill take some pics/vids of different features if anyone wants to see anything.

It's how many years you've had gold membership.

Just over 3 years. It might have expired for a couple of days at some point along the line though.

Hoy those pics up Decky lad.

Cant man, my camera needs batteries :( Will try and get something sorted. Love the avatar awards (unlocking new items by playing games)

Have you found any yet?

I'd take some pics but I'm not sure what's worth showing apart from the cool monkey island stuff. There's not much there yet.

I've got this update now via signing up for preview.

Very few changes, but I mean, if you've got the new version there is an entire group of slidey panel things dedicated to new features of this Beta, so you'll know if you've got it or not.
