Wullie
Having just spent a brilliant weekend in the beautiful city of Bath, I've had to rejig my UK cities league table and relegate Durham as Bath joins Edinburgh, London, York and obviously Newcastle as the urban cream of the crop in Britain. What are your favourite cities in the UK?
Pilko
There's a brilliant cocoa house in Bath, had the best ice-cream sundae ever there. And I mean ever. Newcastle, Leeds, York, Nottingham, London, Edinburgh, Plymouth, Hereford and Mansfield are all winners. Birmingham is vying for promotion.
Guest toonlass
No idea why to be honest but my favourites are Newcastle, Glasgow, Leeds, Oxford and Durham

Minhosa
Newcastle Leeds Glasgow In that order. Manchester's miles better than it used to be but I can't stand listening to that whiney manc drawl every two minutes hence disqualification.
Wullie
I've not really been to Leeds that much but when I have I've always found the place quite dull tbh (sorry Dave).
Pilko
I've not really been to Leeds that much but when I have I've always found the place quite dull tbh (sorry Dave). That statement suggests that Leeds would actually be the party capital of Europe if Dave didn't live there.

Pilko
really dislike Birmingham. Why? I think it's fantastic personally.

Guest elbee909
really dislike Birmingham. Why? I think it's fantastic personally. It's definitely got it's scummier areas - I know this goes for anywhere, just I seem to have been unlucky when I've visited. Like the centre though, cool Selfridges building particularly. Guest firetotheworks
Brighton is the best Ive been to, by an absolute champion mile. York and Edinburgh are also really nice. Ive lived in Leeds, been to London, Glasgow, Liverpool, Manchester and they're all the same city. London not included. Thats why I like Brighton, York and Edinburgh..they've all kept their character as a focal point in what makes their city what it is, and thats why Brighton and York in particular are brilliant imo. Haz
Was always London for me but then I have not had the pleasure of visiting some of the others. I do like the Mediaval toens and would like to get to Chester, Bath etc.
James
For me, there is a difference between favourite city to live and favourite city to visit for a weekend. For example York is vastly superior to Leeds for a weekend trip, but I'd rather live in Leeds.
Guest Geordiecunny
No shouts for Bristol yet? Love that place. Nice atmosphere and lovely architecture.

Colos Short and Curlies
Anyone coming down to Cardiff for the away game will have agood time, lovely little city. Swansea's a dive mind - not as bad as Liverpool but not far off. Nothing comes close to Newcastle for me, appreciate it so much more after moving away. Nowt quite like the train approach over the bridge

Mowen
London, Nottingham, Newcastle, Manchester, Leeds. London's my favourite, just a shame it's so expensive.
