Guest NorwegianMag
As most of you know, I'm very interested in film, and film making, so I'm wondering about what editing program you use? What is the best? What to you recommend?
colinmk
Use Final Cut Pro at work. Had very little experience with it and after a week I had picked it up no bother. I have used a lot of audio programs in the past though. It's a great program imo. Not quite as powerful as the likes of avid so I've been told by a professional editor but not far off it I reckon. Kaizero
Avid for PC, Final Cut for Mac. Don't bother with anything else if you're aspiring to make something decent tbh.
Guest NorwegianMag
Well it's up to you as a film maker to make decent stuff. But Avid, don't you need a good pc for that?
Kaizero
Well it's up to you as a film maker to make decent stuff. But Avid, don't you need a good pc for that? You do. Worth it though. And why not make it easier for yourself to make something decent with industry standard software though?
Guest alankhaw
Final Cut is so much cheaper than Avid
Willow
I use Adobe Premiere which is great. I'd use Final Cut too but I'd need a filthy Mac for that which isn't worth it
