Sight Problems

Thought I'd ask on her seeing (HA) as we have a few doctors and nurses about. Basically, over the last hour the sight in my right eye has just got more and more out of focus, to the point where I keep losing the mouse arrow whenever it's on the right side of my screen. Now I assumed this might be because I've been staring at screens all day, but tbh I do that most days and have been fine for about 4 years. I went up stairs to look in the bathroom mirror, and unless I deliberately focused on it, I couldn't see my right eye at all, but could see the left really clearly. It's like my eye has just developed a blindspot randomly.

So, medical people, should I be concerned or do you think it'll go away after a good nights sleep?

I am a qualified doctor of eyeshite, and it seems abundantly obvious to me, you are quickly going blind. If the other one starts going, grab a stick while you can!   O0

When I cover my left eye I can still see things but it's harder to focus, things further away are a bit fuzzy.

So significantly different than if you just cover your right eye and look out of the left one?

I've had a similar problem to what you described although it occured a minute after I'd been in an exam hall for nearly three hours writing. It wore off eventually (after about five hours) and the resultant trip to the opticians said there was nowt wrong with my eyes, just sometimes when you focus too much your eye can cease to function for a bit.

I'm not an expert but my advice would be to get a good nights sleep and see how it is in the morning.

Little bit, not loads different but a noticble one.

Aye it's probably just due to too much focusing as Pilko said (or as cp40 said, too much time on the fucking computer ). If it's still like it in the morning I'll head to specsavers.

Oh and don't go to Specsavers, what a pile of fucking shite.

Aye, the one in Shields managed to double book for my eye appointment. Twats.

The last 3 (THREE) times I've been there they've just plain made the glasses with the wrong prescription.  :kinnear: Went to a different place (Querido & Davidson on Chilli Road) a year ago, paid a little bit more, but the difference was amazing and worth the money.

Doesnt sound like strain to me.  If its no better tomoz, then see an optician straight away Mon Morning.  If he's in the least bit concerned he'll send you up to Eye O.P.

Wear boxing gloves until then.

I keep getting a twitch under my right eye.  Feels like it should make me look like a maniac, but in the mirror it looks normal.  How long before I flip out and start killing people?

Now to worry about, I do it all the time. Just remember to wear gloves and a hairnet, also try not to put any bodily fluids around.
