There's nothing wrong with it really, there's a lot of stuff on there that she probably doesn't need that is hogging performance at startup.

 

Go through her add/remove programs and un-install all the stuff she doesn't use. Run ccleaner, then defrag her drive.

 

 

If you want to be safe install the 2 programs in the first post here and run them http://www.newcastle-online.org/nufcforum/index.php/topic,19087.0.html

 

I don't see anything nasty on that list but just to be prudent run it anyway, her computer probably just needs a cleanup.

Cheers, that's pretty much what I was expecting, so next time I'm up there I'll try and clean a load of it up. The thing that triggered this off was she got some malware (Personal Antivirus or something like that) which she'd got rid of using Malwarebytes, but I just wanted to run the log past someone who actually knows what they're talking about to make sure there was nothing else serious on there.

No probs. 

 

With Norton on there and with you using malwarebytes there shouldn't be a lot that gets through. The reason i recommend superantispyware is because it's good at detecting and getting rid of rootkits.

 

If it's running a bit slow it's probably just a maintenance thing.

Get rid of norton and install avast. Uses less memory and doesn't have any bloatware.
