Jill
One of my good mates from school got really into it when he was at Durham Uni. According to his Facebook the other day, he's now spending approx 21 hours a week at the rowing club. What do you want to know, and I'll ask him? pinkeye
I sed to do it, at Durham as well as it goes! Very good form of exercise and fitness. It is all about technique rather than power so suits those with less than athletic builds and also the very tall........ I also fancy a go at that Dragon Boating, there is a team at Durham that I have seen on my very odd trip to that neck of the woods!!

Guest lankybellwipe
Rowing is good for the lanky ones?? I'd certainly give it a try, but the other 3 blokes would bat me to death with their oar/oars, for sitting in his/their seat/seats
Guest diddimz
Are oars made of wood? If so, does that mean Rowing allows you to stroke wood with a bunch of guys and no be found gay?
ChezGiven
Was once more popular than football on Tyneside.
