Wullie
Recently moved house and set my TV back up but now when I have the PS3 plugged in via HDMI and turned on, it blocks my Freeview signal (apart from BBC 1 and 2 bizarrely). Never had a problem before now, any reasons why this is happening?
Dave
Are you sure your TV's digital receiver is on? The BBC1/2 thing makes me think you're looking at the analogue feed.

Definitely the Freeview BBC feeds. If I have anything else on, it just says 'no signal' until I pull the HDMI out/turn the PS3 off in which case it instantly returns. Dave
Strange. Have you tried other HDMI ports?
Wullie
Strange. Have you tried other HDMI ports? Aye, all 3, all the same.
Guest Lazlo
Is there not an hdmi or simmilar override setting in your tv menu that's causing it. long shot like, it logically would either give you all or none. Can't understand why it would give you some channels and not others.
Wullie
Did a rescan with the PS3 turned on and it's not just BBC I have but most of the channels. Some are still missing however, ITV, C4, E4, I can't understand why this is.
Wullie
Seen a couple of forum posts elsewhere, AVForums for example, that suggest it's my HDMI cable interfering with the signal. Seems a bit weird that it's never happened before though.
localshop
When I've got my Xbox on freeview doesn't work. Assumed it was interference coupled with a weak signal.
