The two race theory

"Is carbon 14 dating system seriously floored?"

Not a great start to a scientific paper.

The start of the article goes on about Neanderthals as if it's accepted by the scientific community that they were some kind of cultured and advanced race who were practically going to plays every Saturday night, which is news to me.  Although if you're trying to say they were giants/angels or whatever you translate the Hebrew as then I guess the fact they were so primitive is a bit of a stumbling block.

Can't be arsed to read anything which is grey text on blank. What's it say? The Neanderthals had some kind of charva sub-class?

Basically that far from Neanderthals providing evidence of man's natural origins (presumably they've given up saying they didn't exist at all now) and being an extinct sub-species of the humans, that it proves scripture because what we call Neanderthals were actually the mythical "Nephilim" creatures mentioned in the bible

There's been various hoaxes which have flown around the religious community of pictures showing the skeleton of a Nephilm being dug up, but they've either a) Had wings or b) been 15 foot tall giants, so it's a bit of a disappointment to find that they've now been reduced to short ugly cavemen.

Aye.  Well, "fallen angels"

There are five common views regarding the identity of the Nephilim.

  1. They were the hybrid offspring of fallen angels and human women.

  2. They were the offspring of descendants of Seth with those of Cain.

  3. Webster's 1913 Dictionary defines the word simply as "Giant." Thus, any especially tall, powerful, large, or mighty man would be described in ancient times as Nephilim. Nephilim may simply mean "giant," champion, or strong man.

  4. The term might not refer to any specific race or group of people but is a label similar to "hero," a legendary figure, or "great man." The Bible itself describes the Nephilim as "Those were the mighty men who were of old, men of renown." In this view, the Bible tells us that Nephilim is a legendary or heroic figure, a mighty warrior, already renowned in legend by the time Moses wrote down Genesis. Using the Bible to define itself, Nephilim means a man of legend, one recounted in legendary tales.

  5. They are not historical figures and are ancient imagery with questionable meaning.[7]

its not a scientific paper, its a collection of ideas collated by a new age thinker.

It contains some inteesting ideas, but overall there is alot of hunch and guess work.  The theology is a bit ropey too.

Seemingly they (the watchers) are comming back in 2012, at least thats what alot of newagers/goths think.....
