Hello

Some of you may be aware that I am going to create a new league structure for FM2010 which is basically going to be a range of new teams, named after places in the North East of England (which is now it's own nation, entitled Northumberland (please don't pick out the incorrectness of this definition, I'm sticking with it).

Anyway, I am opening up decisions to you folks. First things first, this is not a democracy. Now we've got that sorted, I want ideas for the manager of this new nation. The current jobless "geordies" I can think of are Shearer and Keegan. I can't think of anyone else right now. I'm willing to add people to the vote though. I really would prefer someone other than these 2 to be in charge of the nation. SBR would've been perfect  :-[

If this dies a death, then I won't open it up.. that's fine..  :-[

But I plan to release this to any of you guys if you're interested.

Also, I need places for the teams. I'm looking for 30ish teams, all of which must be North of the river. I want to name the clubs fairly Americanly, but with relevant names to the areas, i.e. Tynemouth Priory.

Help. plz.  :knuppel2: O0

Oh god, he was the only person I could think of other than the listed two. I was hoping he wouldn't be nominated.

At least someone responded :)

My current considered teams:

Tynemouth Priory

Killingworth Rockets

Wallsend Shipbuilders

Lindisfarne Medcaut

North Shields Fishermen

The Denton Burn

Whitley Bay Lighthouse

Gosforth Sheet Metal Workers

Ashington Miners

Blyth Spartans

Monkseaton Brewers

Byker Grove / Wall

Walker St Anthony's

Newbiggin Telegraph

Longbenton Findus

Berwick Borders

Ponteland Marshes

Wylam Waggonway

Newburn Steel Millers

Cullercoats Bell Pits

Bamburgh Castle

Jarrow Crusaders

THOUGHTS? ANYONE???!?!?!? I've never been to half these places. I also need another 15-20 places too. Help.

Heaton Harriers

Jesmond Jaffacakes

Shieldfield Green and Yellow Sox

Sandyford Blue Jays

Good places, but I was trying to give names with some relevance to the area. I may have to give up that hope in some instances though.

Shaun Reay(well Boldon but close enough)

Carl Finnigan

David Edgar(adopted Hebburner)
