Guest firetotheworks
After the quote you need the page number (if there is one) after the year. and for the reference it should be World Wide Web Consortium (2008): Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.0, Available from: http://www.w3.org/WAI/WCAG20/from10/comparison/ (Accessed 28/10/2009) The title is always in italics. Hope that helps.

davy_fulla
It is an absolute nightmare and caused me hassle all the way through my degree. I used a good step-by-step guide at the time which I followed letter for letter so I couldn't get pulled up on my referencing. I can't remember the eact website I used but it's similar to this one which might be a help http://www.bournemouth.ac.uk/library/citing_references/docs/Citing_Refs.pdf Here's a bit of my bibliography for you to bore yourself with: FREEMAN, R.E., 1984. Interpolic
Quick question here: my lass is finishing off her dissertation and she's paraphrasing rather than directly quoting an author. So does she just write her sentence (obviously no quotation marks as it's not a direct quotation) and then put ( Author, 2007 ) afterwards? That's how I recall it but it's been a while. It's obviously Harvard referencing btw. Thanks in advance.

Dr. TC
Get a referencing program like endnote if you're going to have more than 10-15 references. Available from the usual sources. Makes life immeasurably easier. The last review I had published had 74 references so would have been virtually impossible otherwise.
