Yes, it's fucking massive.

Almost 960 acres.

Fucking hell, that's huge. I always think of Hyde Park as massive and that's less than 400 acres. It's bigger than fucking Central Park!

The shit thing is that it is not utilized in a decent way at all.

A bit of landscaping and maybe a few trees wouldnt go amiss iyam.

If it was to be landscaped, a few better footpaths, trees, gardens etc it would be much nicer than it is now.

Wouldn't be as much space for the Freeman to graze their cows mind.

It doesn't surprise me actually. When I come to think of it the city centre is very clean. It would also feel weird to have the Town Moor used in the same way as Central Park or Hyde Park because it would seem completely disproportionate to the city. Leazes Park could do with being slightly bigger imo, but it does the trick .

Ok clever cloggs. All I was saying is that having a massively huge riduculous sized field (or collection of) so near to the  the city centre apparently 'protected' by some bunch of nob ends called the "Freemen" or some other bollocks who wont let a single little thing be done with it is just daft. At least use it in some other way than for a few cows and stuff.

People need to be attracted to it imo and something should be done!

i was only pulling your Limb man.

But, if you landscaped 960 acres, then tried to maintain it in any sort of state of upkeep, it would bankrupt the City.
