Colos Short and Curlies
Never lied on a CV, but happy to emphasise the good points of my skills/experience in line with the role applied for. Maybe its because I'm after a career and not a job, but to me I need to know that any job offered to me is one which I am capable of doing and is being offered to me and not a fictional candidate (if it was for a saturday job I wouldn't care!). If your CV is genuine then the interview should be a piece of piss as its just backing it up with words, if you've embellished then it becomes more tricky. Served me well so far in life, but then I'm lucky that my qualifications and past employers open doors so I can afford to hold the moral ground here!
