Amir_9
Connected a 120V device to 220V accidentally, but nothing happened, am I in the clear? Basically nothing happened, fuse didnt blow up, no spark, no heating up, no smoke, I'll get a converter later today, but I hope the device is alright. Guest Stephen927
How long was it plugged in for, and does the device work now?
Amir_9
How long was it plugged in for, and does the device work now? Was plugged for like a minute before I noticed that it was 120V, then I disconnected it, it wasnt connected directly to the wall, ironically, the second device also 120V but was 17W worked just fine, but I disconnected it immediately when I noticed it was 120V. I dont know wether it works or not, I havent bought a converter yet, I guess I'll just wait and see. Friend of mine says it might have had a stopper, which is why it didnt explode, heat up or something.
Guest Stephen927
A minute, I don't think there will be any damage. There were no signs of it burning out so I think you're in the clear.
