Fugazi
Looking at hiring a car to go down to Leicester at the end of the month, 4 of us. Just wanted opinions on the best company to go with, Enterprise seems like the best bet at the moment, from my limited research.
Guest toonlass
I can only recommend them tbh. Hired a car from them, they turned up with a new Golf GTi, and I was made up.
Fugazi
How much was the deposit?
Guest toonlass
The deposit is dependent on the total cost of your rental. Check it out online or give them a ring. They are canny in the customer services department and have a live chat facility on their website.
Fugazi
Ah right, think the cost is going to £56 from Saturday to Monday.
Karjala
usually you pay with a credit card and dont leave a deposit as such, the risk is in what excess you leave. Check the pick up and drop off times too.
Fugazi
Made a reservation yesterday, to pick up on Friday and drop off on Monday, went to see if I could alter the date so I could change the collection date to Saturday morning. For some reason it's saying it can't access my reservation, maybe cos I'm on my phone, tried to set up a new reservation and its telling me that theyre sold out of all vehicles at shiremoor and byker , surely that can't be right? Rob W
If you do a lot of car hire there is a company that insures you against the excess on any hire - after a couple of rentals it pays for itself www.insurance4carhire.com
