BlueStar
http://www.nintendo.com.au/index.php?action=news&nid=76 Watched this unfold on GBAtemp's forums, an Australian guy who posted as "Kongsnutz" managed to buy the game early and posted an uncensored receipt with the store name and address (doy!) on as proof. He then told everyone he was ripping the game, giving everyone constant updates on how it was going and sure enough it showed up in the usual places (GBAtemp itself doesn't allow linking to illegal files). Unfortunately he was also active on blogs, loads of other sites using the same nick etc and had a personal website registered with all his real details. So in spite of Nintendo's official line that they tracked him down with "sophisticated technological forensics" they really couldn't have had it any easier. News report including an interview with Kongsnutz http://video.ninemsn.com.au/video.aspx?uuid=9f3a5e57-0ecd-48eb-8bba-e60e7fc04f52#::8e763b61-9cd6-43e3-9fbd-2630713172ee
