Chavez accuses the U.S. of creating Haiti earthquake.

Several media outlets have reported Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez accusing the United States of causing the devastating 7.0 magnitude earthquake in Haiti, which killed possibly 200,000 people. Other media dispute the report.

Last week, Digital Journal reported that the Venezuelan President accused the United States of using Haiti’s earthquake as a pretext to occupy the Caribbean country, and since then the US has deployed thousands of troops to the region to bring law and order.

Media reports claim Chavez's state "mouthpiece" ViVe TV is blaming the US for causing the 7.0 magnitude earthquake in Haiti as part of testing a “tectonic weapon” that can cause eco-type disasters, according to Russia Today. The information was apparently gathered by Russia's North Fleet, FOX News says.

The Latin American leader added that the US should “stop playing God.”

The TV report said these “weapon earthquakes” would eventually be used against Iran and be taken over by the US military.

It goes on to say these weapons can alter the climate and set off earthquakes and volcanoes remotely through the use of electromagnetic waves.

Although news is gaining attention around the world, its credibility has yet to be verified. Some critics wonder how a state TV claim is being tied to Hugo Chavez.

Press TV reports the Venezuelan media are reporting the earthquake may be associated with the High Frequency Active Auroral Research Program (HAARP), which has been accused of generating violent and disastrous changes in climate.

HAARP has been met with controversy since the mid-1990s when the State Duma of Russia issued a press release written by international affairs and defense communities on HAARP and signed by 90 deputies:

“The U.S. is creating new integral geophysical weapons that may influence the near-Earth medium with high-frequency radio waves ... The significance of this qualitative leap could be compared to the transition from cold steel to firearms, or from conventional weapons to nuclear weapons. This new type of weapons differs from previous types in that the near-Earth medium becomes at once an object of direct influence and its component.”

Is this really possible?  :frantic:

Conspiracy nuts started saying that pretty much straight after the earthquake hit:

"US Quake Test Goes Horribly Wrong, Leaves 500,000 Dead In Haiti"

http://beforeitsnews.com/story/11904/US_Quake_Test_Goes_Horribly_Wrong_,_Leaves_500,000_Dead_In_Haiti.html

Although surely if they were testing an earthquake machine the test actually went "horribly right"

View Larger Image A rocket experiment that may shed light on the highest clouds in the Earth’s atmosphere was conducted from NASA's Wallops Flight Facility in Virginia on September 19, 2009. The experiment was launched on a NASA Black Brant XII Sounding Rocket.

The Charged Aerosol Release Experiment (CARE) was conducted by the Naval Research Laboratory and the Department of Defense Space Test Program using a NASA four-stage Black Brant XII suborbital sounding rocket. Using ground based instruments and the STP/NRL STPSat-1 spacecraft, scientists will study an artificial noctilucent cloud formed by the exhaust particles of the rocket’s fourth stage at about 173 miles altitude.

Russian Journal: HAARP Could Capsize Planet

Just when you think you’ve heard all the possible far-out theories behind the High Frequency Active Auroral Research Program (HAARP) in Alaska, leave it to the Russians to come up with one better. Forget mind control, the Russians think HAARP is a "geophysical weapon" that’s gonna capsize the planet. HAARP, just by way of a reminder for those who don’t obssessively follow its progress, is a military project that’s supposed to study the ionosphere and "use it to enhance communications and surveillance systems for both civilian and defense purposes." In more recent years, the Pentagon has also expressed interest in using HAARP to mitigate the effects of high-altitude nuclear explosions. However, HAARP’s use of an antenna array operating in the High Frequency (HF) range has also prompted tons and tons of other theories about its uses, ranging from weather control to altering human behavior.

According to this article published in a Russian military journal (and helpfully translated by the CIA-funded Open Source Center), HAARP is the ultimate superweapon:

U.S. Scientists Call for the Creation of an International Asteroid Defense Agency

By Jeremy Hsu Posted 01.25.2010 at 9:33 am 15 Comments

Asteroid Defense Let's not keep the proposals too long in committee, yeah? NASA/Don Davis

Russia's proposal for an Armageddon-style mission to deflect the space rock Apophis seemed bold, but it's not the only one fretting about a catastrophic impact on Earth. The U.S. National Research Council (NRC) released a new report that calls for an international asteroid defense agency that can organize a proper mission to counter possible asteroid threats, New Scientist reports.

The NRC repeats some grim facts about Earth's current lack of readiness to deal with giant space rocks flying at it. Current sky surveys will not be able to find 90 percent of near-Earth objects that are 460 feet (140 m) or larger by 2020, as the U.S. Congress instructed NASA in 2005 to ensure they could. As always, a lack of funding has proved the main problem here.

Even if scientists spot a looming asteroid threat, few immediate solutions exist. The NRC runs down past proposals that range from "slow push" or "slow pull" gravity tractors to small kinetic collisions by spacecraft that could nudge a space rock off course -- assuming that there's decades to spare. But only nuclear explosions stand ready as the current practical means for dealing with the biggest threats in the form of space rocks greater than 1 km in diameter.

That name rings a bell.  :mackems:

Daniel 2:41   And whereas thou sawest the feet and toes, part of potters' clay, and part of iron, the kingdom shall be divided; but there shall be in it of the strength of the iron, forasmuch as thou sawest the iron mixed with miry clay.

REVELATION Ch. 17

1 Then one of the seven angels who had the seven bowls came and spoke with me, saying, "Come here, I will show you the judgment of the great harlot who sits on many waters,

2. with whom the kings of the earth committed {acts of} immorality, and those who dwell on the earth were made drunk with the wine of her immorality."

3. And he carried me away in the Spirit into a wilderness; and I saw a woman sitting on a scarlet beast, full of blasphemous names, having seven heads and ten horns.

Obama picks Perdue for defense council

Gov. Beverly Perdue

Posted: Feb. 5, 2010

Raleigh, N.C. — Gov. Beverly Perdue was among 10 governors selected by President Barack Obama Thursday to serve on a council that will discuss National Guard and homeland defense issues with the U.S. military.

On the Council of Governors, Perdue will exchange views and advice with the defense and homeland security secretaries and other national security advisers.

Perdue said in a statement early Friday that she intends to be an advocate for the National Guard.

"The members of the National Guard serve our nation not only on the front lines of overseas battles, but here at home in times of our greatest needs," she said. "I will advocate for the National Guard's needs at the highest levels to accomplish their missions at home and overseas."

The council, which Obama created by executive order in January, is aimed at better integrating state and federal military activities.

Theirs been studies before about the possibility of triggering an earthquake, so far I think the only way for to happen (and this is in theory, not a fact) is if they dropped a bomb deep down into the earth's crust where a fault line is that is already nearing an earthquake in anyway.

I doubt the US would would of even done this even if they did think it was possible, becasue come on, because of this America is being flooded with immirgrants from Haiti and has already payed out $b's in aid. The only plus America could get from a test like this is to see if it's possible to set off an earthquake alone the San Andreas fault that is not highly populated, so that places liek San Fran would be safe from devestation.

VATICAN CITY (Reuters) - President Barack Obama's lifting of restrictions on federal funding for human embryonic stem cell research puts him at odds with Pope Benedict and the American Roman Catholic Church.

World  |  Italy

After Obama signed the order on Monday, the Vatican and U.S. Church leaders condemned the move. One commentator said the test of "a real democracy" was its defense of the most defenseless.

Obama's executive order reversed and repudiated restrictions placed on the research by his predecessor, George W. Bush, freeing labs across the country to start working with the cells, which can give rise to any kind of cell in the body.

Cardinal Justin Rigali of Philadelphia, chairman of the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops' committee on pro-life activities, called Obama's decision "a sad victory of politics over science and ethics."

"This action is morally wrong because it encourages the destruction of innocent human life, treating vulnerable human beings as mere products to be harvested," he added.  REUTERS

Yes, it's a sad sad world when a leader of a country can go along with stupid conspiracy theories lie this, it's almost as bad as those sadoes who believe the royal family are giant lizards in human form.

I wish relgiouse nut jobs would get off their fucking high horse and relise anything that can save or prolong a life giving someone as much health as a normal human is a good thing, no bible basher was having ago at sicentists and dr's when the last pope was receiving medical treatment, if it wasn't for previouse medical research and advancements then he would of been dead long before he did die.

I'm not really taking a positon on all this. Fact is red flags are off the scale for this time of year...America is doing a lot of strange things, everyone that can is launching satellites to watch the sun and other things...The weather has gone wierd..Obama has also recently passed n51 or summat which means for the first time a president can take command of american troops ON AMERICAN SOIL against the people....etc...Wierd times.

No - the energy required to kick of an earthquake is unbelievable

You detect N test by looking at seismic results but the shock wave is so small you require some pretty expensive kit to detect anything at all
