How much do you want to spend? The cheap ones are just that - cheap headphones.

Aye I know. I'm not going to spend a fortune but I thought my last pair were really nice. X300 I think they were on closer inspection.

That's really weird, I've just this minute put a pair of cheap Sennheiser headphones in my basket on Play.com.  They're only a fiver so they won't be much cop - they're just back-up to my big Sennheiser ones so I don't end up looking like Craig David on a night out.

Cheap ones: http://www.play.com/Electronics/Electronics/4-/12145901/-/Product.html

Good ones: http://www.play.com/Electronics/Electronics/4-/5446491/Sennheiser-PXC350-NoiseGard-Headphones/Product.html

I doubt either are the ones you're after, but I'm dead happy with the big headphones I got for Christmas and would recommend them to anyone wanting to spend that much - they're great.

Got some cx500s now and I think they're a class up from the 300s. I got them on offer but they should be available for sub £30 if you look around.

My CX500's are the best earphones I have had and the only ones that have lasted more than a few weeks.

£19.12 on Amazon there if you're interested Tooj.  I'm with Fugazi on in-ear ones mind - I've got a pair somewhere but they feel weird.

I never feel like they're in properly (that's what she said).

Though I am a bit miffed about losing my pad things that go on the end, used to be able to buy 6 for a quid at HMV, had none last time I was in.

Cheers man. Think I'll just go for those for now. At the moment I'm now a book reader on my morning Metro journeys to work.

My old earphones are fucked, and I can't actually remember what brand of Sennheiser they are. Does anyone have any recommendations for a replacement Sennheiser pair?

Seriously, go check out this site, you will find everything here.

But decide budget before going into the forum, or else you fucked :pow:

I recommend a good set of in ear monitors, sound fantastic and more portable.

Ultimate Ears have some superb once, same does Sennheiser, IE6, IE7 etc.

I'm no connoisseur but it feels like you'd have to spend a hell of a lot more money to get noticeably better sound quality. Depends on whether you like in-ear or not I guess.
