Super Duper Branko Strupar
I work at a research company who work exclusively with 7-24 year olds. s obviously mean I speak with loads of kids everday and I am increasingly amazed at their internet and computer knowledge and understanding in general. I remember getting the internet for the first time, and was amazed thinking back of the speed of the jumps its made. I used books at school and used the internet in maybe 2 lessons a week, writing homework on paper instead of typing. The opportunity for learning is endless. Anoyone else 'grow up' with the internet? Do you remember the moves from Napster (where if you went offline in the middle of a download it had to start again when you went back on) to Morpheus, to Azureus, Bearshare.... Does your son/daughter/nephew/neice talk about things you reall have never heard of?

Mike
Remember being a nipper and if I asked my parents a question they didn't know the answer to, then that was that: I never found. Used to tell me to look it up. Especially if I couldn't spell a word. Looking up a word I couldn't spell always seemed like they were just telling me to fuck off. Mike
We had some shit ones, and a few half decent science volumes. I suppose they told us to look it up because they dropped so much money on that stuff.
neesy111
porn, has made a large proportion :fwap: :fwap: of the internet
Kaizero
If they took all the porn off the internet, there'd be only one site left and it would be called bringbacktheporn.com
Mike
porn, has made a large proportion :fwap: :fwap: of the internet Since time immemorial, whenever man created something, someone would always ask "Can you fuck it?". We lost alot of those guys when we found fire, but enough survived to sort out the internet. If 56k was fast enough for porn to load, we'd all still be on phone lines. AyeDubbleYoo
Remember being a nipper and if I asked my parents a question they didn't know the answer to, then that was that: I never found. I remember looking through encyclopedias with my Mam and Dad, looking up animals and countries and things. I think that's something I'll still try to do if I have kids. There's something about searching for information and exploring a book that Wikipedia can't give you.
