Even ignoring the glaringly obvious (ie. changes in teammates) you can look at Tiote's own personal contribution to shots/goals and see it's nothing special. Abeid was the only real alternative to Tiote as a midfielder who can actually stop the opposition from playing right through us. Colback and Anita are mostly invisible. I'd like to something like Tiote in the middle of Sissoko and Wijnaldum, just get Colback and Anita away from the pitch.
