Fucking hell. This happened to poor old Rod Stewart as well.

Once perfectly dull but mainstream pop/rock superstars who, in their encroaching senility, become so desperate to seek a final gasp of the oxygen of fame that they decide it's a good career move to do a covers album and give their now 50-something audience some easy listening treats, whilst coining in a few extra bucks to boost their own flagging pension funds.

Pitiful sight, really. :sadnod:

Ye nah what it is, fuck dancing around it, he's been fucking brilliant. He might have been shit later on, but then so was Stevie Wonder, obviously the chasm is different, but the rule applies.

I like some of the Genesis stuff but hardly any of his solo stuff tbh.

I'm pretty much the same, but I consider that enough to see him as more than 'talentless'. Like I said, it might be some sort of childhood cognition alone, but I think Another Day in Paradise and Easy Lover are fucking excellent.
