Nah, it's a bit of the Quayside just up from Pitcher and Piano, where the St Anne's (?) apartments are. Free Trade, etc., are just round the corner.

I think Sting has had Wallsend erased from his memory, the kernt.

 

Aye, he's a complete embarrassment. If I ever became famous I'd probably drop Wallsend in every second sentence.

 

Youz clearly haven't heard his most recent album with him singing in a daft Geordie accent.

I thought it was Sting's dad who was a milkman? Also Gateshead is now pretty much seen as an area of Newcastle, what with urbanization and all.

 

 

Dad was yes- both his sons helped him as young teenagers. c1969
