Mr. Snrub
I reckon it's Shearer. He was just able to hide it well by scoring over 200 goals and putting in consistently brilliant performances. The guy was a con artist.

wormy
Shearer? FFS. Cole easily for me. He only scored a handful of goals in Division 1 for us, the first season in the PL was clearly a fluke. Would've been found out after that had he stayed with us.

Guest andrew
It's a shame we didn't get lovenkrands earlier and played him in the hole behind chopra and carl cort. our 2002-03 campaign was killed by those wankers up front.

1964
First post and a big shout out for the one and only George Reilly. 6'4" except when he 'jumped' for a header when he miraculously became 5'2". And he was ginger

Would've been found out after that had he stayed with us. Ameobi has more goals than Cole. This stat alone makes Cole a serious contender.

Guest BooBoo
In the modern era it's between Andersson, Guivarch, Luque and Rush. Our current lot are dreadful but Lovenkrands escapes for his efforts last season, Ranger for his youth, Shola for his vital goals over the years and Kuqi because he's hardly played. The group mentioned in the first paragraph though where just a collection of shit bastards.
