Why does my post counter state 0 posts?

yeah mine has been stuck on 600 for half a year or somethin, im prob on 1500 now :tongue3:. they just stopped the post count so people wouldnt brag about it and stuff

It was disabled to stop spamming/post boosting etc.

Boasting I presuem you meant, I think if you want to take that line on it then you should get rid of the post counters full stop.

 

No, boosting. As in posting with the sole aim of boosting your post count.

 

I think Philip Craig is going to remove the post count eventually, but he's a busy man, and there's only him that can do it.

Yeah, there should probably be a 'POST COUNT QUESTIONS IN HERE' sub-forum, to be honest.

 

I think I'll add it to the list. (I don't actually have a list)

I could try and remove it, but I'd just knack the whole board up like the last time when we went into a full scale panic and made lots of posts on the software makers own board.

 

Daft me, thought we'd been hacked or something.

 

Turned out I forgot to close a few tags in the template code...

 

Best let Phil fix things.

Not  a fan of post counts , but  I'll not always be at  3 or 4  will I  so I won't be a noob ....

 

No  bother  tho .  I'm  sure  once ppl know a noob long enough they are accepted .

No, no. I'm afraid to say that acceptance on this forum is COMPLETELY post-count centric.

 

That's why the likes of HTT are regarded as losers by many.
