:( So sad.

I can't be sad that he made it to 92. Celebrate his life!

agreed, heard today when he was in his 70s he was telling people he was finally old enough to play Jones. Hard to believe he was 48 when he got that part.

Ah, man. :( Us oldsters were talking about 60s and 70s comedies at work today and (from my point of view anyway) how bad they were, except for Dad's Army which is still being repeated today because it wasn't too racist or sexist for today's thoughtbubble or whatever tf you kids call it  but is still funny. Clive got an honourable mention for being a good actor considering the age disparity. Had no idea he was 92 now, or that he'd died. Don't think I'd spoken about him for years, weird synchronicity. I'd forgotten about the whole Fuzzy-Wuzzy back story tbh, we were mostly wondering how any sane woman could fancy Reg Varney except for his access to cashpoints. Or Bob Grant, who apparently could eat an apple through a letterbox. Why are mackems obsessed with letterboxes?

Anyway, I bet he had a good life...
