Is overclockers still run by some Enoch Powell worshipping 'White Nationalist' National Front type?  Last time I went there to see if I could get some advice on something, everything on their forum that wasn't about computers was the site admin posting Neo-Nazi YouTube videos, racially abusing people and ranting about the evils of immigration, homosexuality, multi-culturalism and interracial marriage.

Having no operating system is a good move to keep the costs down. It's only good price / value depending on its purpose - but it's a decent allrounder.

You mentioned the open university - is this gonna be used for doing work on, research etc? If so, it's great

for around 350, would been good value.  SOme good quality components in there.  imo the price slightly expensive, but not a rip off.

getting sata 3 hdd is good idea.....some might say you should have had a SSD instead, or one of each.  Certainly got yourself a powerful pc!
