We could very realistically be 3 points off 18th by full time so can we try and win this game pls and not just "throw it". We can try to win it, but that won't effect the actual outcome. I would prefer him to play but if he isn't there yet mentally he isn't going to put in a performance that matches his ability and is likely to bottle* the odd important challenge. *Don't mean that to sound harsh, he has every right to be a little concerned. The champions, followed by 2 European quarter finals and the home derby in a fortnight? Can think of 2005 when we had the Quarters v Sporting and Man U in the FA Cup Semi Final within a short period, the end of the 2004 season was pretty frantic with the Semi Finals and a top 4 push....definitely massive mind.
