NHS Trusts to get extra government cash for Christmas.... except the North East

Don't know all the ins and outs exactly, but caught a piece on Radio Newcastle this morning about the above. It seems that most NHS Trusts will benefit from a £250million government hand out, to help them out over the winter months (to be spent on A&E, etc) However, not ONE NE Trust is to benefit from this cash. What the fuck? We really are too far away from London for the Tories to give a shit. :(

The only thing that I can think of is that the RVI has the resources it needs. That or we're being excluded.

They've said it's because our hospitals are coping fine.  :hmm:

I somewhat believe it since a few NHS trusts have had to call in administrators down south (shambolic that NHS trusts are running out of cash tbh).

Things like HS2 have already showed us that, according to this government, the country stops at leeds... probably because no one in the north east actualy voted tory , so no point them spending money here as they won't win here anyway.

Could say same-thing about the Labour government since they are guaranteed votes up here no matter what.
