If they are competent, it does help having people that really know a football club, in positions of power. When Guehi leaves it will be the least "south London" the club has been in living memory. Virtua Stiva
Not seeing Parish plastering his face all over SSN now that they’re losing their manager and getting way, way under the value for their generational talent now. And it was one Edward Howe that put them there, so they're very easy to like imo. In all fairness, name a club and I’ll find a reason to dislike them. Wolfcastle
That'll all anger the Palace "Ultra's". The fourteen of them might even wear the same t-shirt and club together to write a strongly worded letter. Edited January 16 by Wolfcastle

Lush Vlad
I feel like stuff is getting leaked to the press to make LinkedIn Liam’s job impossible. Lego team bonding sessions and making a point of wearing no gloves. So his players can hear his applause

If all else fails, get Brendan Rodgers on the phone and ask him if you have clearance to use his “one of you is going to let me down this season” exercise. Round it off with a box of after eights for the biggest team player from the day and give everyone a mantra for the rest of the season along the lines of “believe in yourself first, then others will believe in you”. Get yourself home and then have a wank over a picture of yourself, knowing you’ve absolutely nailed it today lad. Tuck yourself into bed at night and load up LinkedIn and a post - “Some days the hardest days are the ones where you have to just keep going, even when you know everything’s against you. I’m not calling myself a hero but if you break the word down, He-row, I’m a he and I’m leading the team with the direction we’re rowing in. It’s up to others to call me a hero if they want to, I’m just going to keep doing my job”

So his players can hear his applause For me it's not the fact he does this, but the fact he's probably made a point of telling people he does it. If he turns out to be half as good as he thinks he is then Chelsea have got a hell of a manager on their hands! On a side note he's probably a perfectly nice, hard-working person, he just seems a lot more Fulham than Chelsea. I also find Eddie's motivational slogans on the wall thing a little cringey as well so I'm a bit biased agains the whole corporatespeak thing. I think it is either him making a big song and dance about it and is happy to make a point of it. Or there is someone already sick to death of him and thought it was a bad appointment. Who is happy to go running to the press all the while. Agree on that last part. @Yorkie and I touched on it. When I was referencing how Rosenior was like the High Performance Podcast final boss. Howe definitely goes in for all that too. However, it doesn’t seem so overtly in your face or Brent-like. I can’t imagine him ever coming out with a line as bad as that ‘Man-age’ one, either. As someone else said. Just meaningless waffle.

Dr.Spaceman
It's weird how 'middle of the road' you have to appear to be as a football manager to be accepted by the masses None of this newfangled shite, but make sure you're not a complete dinosaur at the same time please, thanks. Sibierski
Hopefully they persist. Spurs away with Frank in charge is a 70% win chance game IMO, spurs without frank and it’s more 50/50 at best.
