Timing of the stadium in combination with a global outbreak is unfortunate yes, but appointing Mourinho was just a massive gamble that didn't pay off. Most could see that he was lame horse after Man Utd, but they took the chance that he could still do it. Don't get me wrong, he was a brilliant manager but he's fallen behind the times and things that worked for him from 2004-2010 just don't now and his ego won't let him consider new approaches.
