Other clubs' transfers

I think they will be fine, they've made more changes than we have, and started in a weaker position.

They've signed 11 new players (we've signed 10 - it'll be 11 when Lazaar is confirmed today), so that's not strictly true.

They started in a weaker position, have made weaker signings and are continuing to sign players for positions that they don't need to.

They'll struggle to make the playoffs, said it all along. At worst, they could end up at the wrong end of the table.

Weaker signings -Elphick, Chester, McCormack, Jedinak, would all get in our team. They have had to build a new spine for their team, and we're on a downward spiral from last year.

They certainly have enough quality to be right up challenging, wether or not they do is dependant on Di Matteo.

Hard to figure them out in all honesty, they are blowing hot and cold.

I would expect them to be in and around the play offs come the end of the season. Yes they have some shit in their team, but as we have all said this league is full of shit and it only takes being a little less shitter to make a difference.

Dr Tony's tweets are priceless.  Him and Villa are going to bring so much joy this year.

Pulling the plug on transfer targets cos he's watched them play a few games

Bidding £20m for Hernandez

Tweets like this after getting battered:

He's going to go into a meltdown at some point.

They are like we were - OK if they go a goal up but fall to pieces as soon as they concede.  That mentality needs to change before they can progress.  We've all seen how long it is taking us to recover from that mentality and we are still a work in progress.
