Could see some blatant Ashley, and just go full on "Sports Direct".....0 up front, and 1p per year for the rest of eternity

I've never understood why Ashley didn't milk SD for NUFCs benefit.

He owns 50% of SD and 100% of the club. Why not get SD pay out of the nose for advertising pumping daft money in to the club. SD has become a monster during its time with us. You could easily suggest we've raised their profile and it's money well spent.

Why pay for advertising when it's free all over the stadium. Plus if SD appeared on the shirts attention would be drawn to how much was paid

Free SD advertising is only 50% beneficial to MA whereas SD paying is 100% as it's all his.

NUFC are the equivalent of Sports Direct. SD offer cheapo products at a low price. That is what Ashley has made NUFC into. We are the cheap version of a premier league club. Spend low on players, sell anyone good on for a profit, survive for the TV money.

Running it as a business he has made his model and is doing it very well. Just like this sponsorship he is a gambler. He gambled on us and is maximizing his profits. For us, supporters, it is horrendous, but in his view he has a premier league club with TV money and sponsorship potential.

All he needs to do is hire an average manager(not a good manager, we have already seen that a good manager with ambition will not get along with Ashley), a few half decent players and he gets 50,000 people turning up every other week and buying merchandise, food, drink, also a sponsorship deal every year. He has a cash cow and will continue to milk it.

Too many of our fans confuse turning up on a match day and cheering the team on with loyalty. Blindly following this shit into the abyss is not being a loyal supporter. It takes a lot more to not go and miss out on the days out with your mates in town or the away trips.

Alternatively, you could say they've raised our profile, not that it's done much good. SD is a multi billion pound business so like it or not dwarfs NUFC in terms of value and income to Ashley
