Sounds like the AG has Charnley on the case

TBF to Lukey Luke, he already wrote his own hit piece on him last season.

Fair play to the Spectator pivoting to an individuals shouldn't benefit from commercial deals and capitalism is actually bad angle though. Didn't see that coming. Plus we've been repeatedly told they're good, honest lads so there's no ulterior motive in play.

The same company that pays Luke Edwards own this rag.

I like Marcus Rashford and absolutely commend everything he's done in recent years to help kids in poverty, but something rings hollow when he's prepared to accepted an MBE from the fucking royal family.

Wish more people of his profile would tell them to get fucked.

An MBE from the Queen for a young black athletes charity work is an endorsement not only of his charitable work, but of him too.

It will open a lot of doors for him post football.

As cynical as it sounds, accepting the MBE will be a great career move.

Great for a career move, but rank hypocrisy.

'Member of the Order of the British Empire', ffs.

And yes, of course that's not at all surprising from footballers/celebrities these days. It's just a sad indictment that many of them think getting a silver medal from that lot sends a powerful message.

Clearly Rashford is passionate about helping people in causes close to him - he's not the 'brains' behind his operations. It's his PR team/family that are coordinating things.  In other words, he's not in it for the politics.

There's some absolutely unbelievably good Warnock stories on the various Undr the Cosh podcasts, utter belters that put things like the famous bowling ball story in the shade. He's fucking incredible by all accounts.

Why’s it rank hypocrisy? Genuine question - I don’t know if he’s anti-royal, or had spoken up against the honours system.
